Pesto Sauce

I found this recipe and tweaked it a bit from the website dyinetwork.com

Pesto Sauce
3-4 garlic cloves
3.5-4 cups basil leaves (if buying from Kroger 3.25 containers worth)
1 cup (+/-) EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
1 cup (+/-) parmesan
1/4 cup pine nuts
dash of salt and pepper

Put all in a food processor and blend it together. 

This is amazing. The color of it is so wonderful. When you buy pesto store bought it is a darker green...but when home made it is a wonderful bright green and the taste is soooo fresh and great!

I put this on a homemade pizza...recipe to follow.
This can also be used on pasta.
