Fajitas

Mexican food is one of my favorites. Growing up in Texas I had a lot to choose from. I didn't get my weekend edition of Fajitas so I made some the other night and they turned out wonderful and were so easy.

Cara's Fajitas
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 onion
1 lb flat iron steak
1 packet fajita seasoning
Dash of soy sauce
Tortillas
Cheese
Sour Cream

Thinly slice the green and red bell peppers along with the onion ( I used 2/3 of the onion). Then place all in a well greased skillet.
Thinly slice the meat and also place in skillet.
I then put a dash of soy sauce and the packet of fajita seasoning.
Mix all together and cook until meat is cook through. I had my stove at a Med. High.

Then serve on a warm flour tortilla. I garnished with cheese and sour cream.

I served mexican rice and refried beans along side.

It was a great mexican restaurant quality meal right at home, and it wasn't expensive.

Bon Appetite
